We visited Reds Bar and Grill in Wimbledon last night for the second time. We went at 7pm and the atmosphere was a bit quiet, but it did pick up later. We both had burgers, which were very nice and well worth a try. Huge variety of toppings to choose from. Staff were very attentive, very fast service. Only let-down was the dessert, the waiter recommended the brownie but it was more like cake.
Visited Reds Bar and Grill, Wimbledon prior to theatre on 3.3. The restaurant itself didnt look as nice as the one two doors down but we were more than pleasantly surprised at the food. Steak and chips for two, steaks were extremely good and perfectly cooked. All washed down with a very reasonably priced red wine. Excellent service and would definitely go again. Suggest booking before the theatre as many were being turned away with restaurant full.
We had a pre theatre meal so wanted good food with a quick service, and Reds Bar did not disappoint. We had the burgers and they were very good and really tasty. Staff were attentive, and service surprisingly quick. The decor was not the most enticing, which could be off putting for walk in customers. the meal was very good value. Reds was ideal for what we were looking for.
Reds Grill & Bar, Wimbledon. Fast and friendly. Food was OK, about what you would expect from this type of place/menu. We were give a £10 discount to be spent on a next visit so that was a bonus!
Timewarp to the sixties -all lime green and orange decor! - but food really up there and staff so friendly - chef is accessible - great atmosphere and ideal for pre theatre supper.
