La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar and Kitchen - Croydon
About La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar and Kitchen - Croydon
Centrally located in the very centre of bustling Croydon with its many shops and bars, La Tasca is a favourite of the after work crowd as well as those seeking late night dining pleasures with a Spanish twist. Inspired by traditional tapas bars so often seen off the beaten track in Spanish cities, La Tasca is warm and cosy but with a lively atmosphere thanks to the bar area where Spanish wines and cocktails are enjoyed to the sultry sounds of Iberian music. That fiesta feel is accompanied by excellent authentic food straight from that favourite holiday destination, both main meals such as paellas and perfect to share tapas dishes – which we think demands a jug of sangria too. The selection is breathtaking, with just about every specialty you can think of represented on the La Tasca menu, with a wide choice for veggies as well as excellent seafood too. La Tasca isn’t just a favourite of grown ups either, family friendly in every way the restaurant also really appeals to children, the finger food dining approach a real thriller for kids big and small.

Very good atmosphere. Good choice and food was excellent.
Service was somewhat slow probably due to staff shortages and several groups in the restaurant. Food was good but think the Galicia is better
Pleasant surroundings, friendly service , and good food - at La Tasca Croydon on a quiet Tuesday evening.
La Tasca - Croydon Bit quiet for Friday but by no means empty. £10 banqet offer was great value and the dishes that we supplemented them with were very tasty. service was polite and [generally] prompt. Ideal for small groups Would recommend
La Tasca, Croydon: A quick bite to round off a Sunday night. The place was quite quiet, but the service was consequently swift. We started with a platter of Serrano ham, bread and olives which was complimentary on their Easter deal. Then on to tapas where, along with some old favourites, new items which passed muster were the char-grilled green beans and the superfood salad. A pleasant meal, and 20% off with their loyalty club didn't hurt either.
