Situated in the heart of Farringdon, The Distillers Smithfield is the newly opened sister pub of The Distillers Hammersmith and The Bedford, in Balham. Serving quality gastropub cuisine, The Distillers Smithfield aims to impress, with décor comprising stained glass double doors, crushed velvet banquettes, plush curtains and grand mirrors. The ambience is upbeat yet informal, making The Distillers Smithfield the perfect place to relax and unwind after a hard day’s work. Following in the footsteps of its sister pubs, there is live music on Thursday evenings, and on the last Sunday of the month. We love the chicken bacon sandwich with rocket beef tomato, and the roasted pork belly served with Asian noodle salad cider jus.

Big place, big portions, okay service and prices.
Good atmosphere and tasty food..
Despite the workers not being aware that we had booked through toptable, they strived to accommodate us (a party of 12). We were treated very well, the food was good and drinks flowed. Thank you Anna and Katrina for a brilliant time.
Distillers, EC1A, catered for our party of 22. Lively pub. We had a pre-ordered set menu. Food was good if a little variable - thai beef salad starter was lovely, haddock main was too, chicken main nice (but no veg?), desserts not great (crumble no custard?)& cheese selection bad - some red leceister&brie only. Service was friendly&efficient; our drinks hostess also really looked after us. Mezzanine was a bit cramped seating but fine. A good evening overall; food was a tad under par for £25ph
Was an Monday night but was very empty, food wasn't bad but nothing special. However service was good and everything was good value for money so no complaints either. The Distillers Smithfield
