Situated in the heart of Farringdon, The Distillers Smithfield is the newly opened sister pub of The Distillers Hammersmith and The Bedford, in Balham. Serving quality gastropub cuisine, The Distillers Smithfield aims to impress, with décor comprising stained glass double doors, crushed velvet banquettes, plush curtains and grand mirrors. The ambience is upbeat yet informal, making The Distillers Smithfield the perfect place to relax and unwind after a hard day’s work. Following in the footsteps of its sister pubs, there is live music on Thursday evenings, and on the last Sunday of the month. We love the chicken bacon sandwich with rocket beef tomato, and the roasted pork belly served with Asian noodle salad cider jus.

Big place, big portions, okay service and prices.
Was an Monday night but was very empty, food wasn't bad but nothing special. However service was good and everything was good value for money so no complaints either. The Distillers Smithfield
The food was very good at The Distillers Smithfield but being a Monday night the bar was empty and lacking in atmosphere, but a perfectly acceptable venue!
Simple, tasty, good value food served by happy, bright, warm but efficient staff. An enjoyable lunch all round and will definitely return
Despite the meal being to mark my last day a good time was had by all. The food was tasty and any problems were ironed out very quickly. One person was given a free meal as a mistake had been made on her order. Would definitely go back.
