Albert's Table

About Albert's Table

Set just south of the centre of South End in Croydon, Albert's Table is a charming restaurant serving quality British food. Run by chef/owner Joby Wells, who trained at The Square and The Orrery, Albert's Table is a relaxed venue that is always buzzing with a business lunch trade, and a well-heeled gourmet-loving crowd in the evenings. Spacious and calm, the Victorian dining room has cosy corduroy banquettes and large colourful photographs of the English countryside printed on canvas. Locals love the Roast local Hereford beef with hand cut chips, English runner beans, girolle mushrooms and Kentish onion; the Treacle tart with Cornish clotted cream; and the reasonably priced wine list.

Alberts Table in South Croydon has to be the best restaurant in town. The staff are polished, the layout clean, yet inviting, and the food is superb!

As ever, lovely ambience. However, the portions were rather small on this visit. Service was excellent. Will go again soon.

Alberts Table, Croydon produced another excellent evenings dining. The venue is a delight and the food was beautiful. Service perhaps a little tardy but our group were in no rush.

Albert's Table is an excellent choice for Sunday lunch. Good value and the beef in particular is first class.
