Made in Italy
About Made in Italy
Made in Italy first opened on the Kings Road in 1989 and soon became famous for its authentic Neapolitan flavours and genuine Italian ambience. The comfortably rustic interior, sunny alfresco terrace and friendly service make it the perfect setting for laid-back lunches and full-on feasts with the family. The Southern Italian menu features traditional antipasti, homemade pasta dishes and hearty mains like sea bass with a garlic, cherry tomato and parsley sauce. Made in Italy’s signature dish is pizzametro – literally wood-fired ‘pizza by the metre’, where different topping combinations sit side by side on the same base. Why not try the Funghetto with mushrooms, rocket and truffle oil while your friends tuck in to a classic Margherita?

Made in Italy - 249 Kings Road. The pizza was very good and on delivered on unusual wooden plates. Service was not I was expecting.

Was easy as pie to make the reservation, easy to get to. Looks so cozy when you walk in so it just invites you in. Waitress that greater us wasn't very welcoming. I had asked for the best table in the house as it was my wife's bday, but they barely seemed to realise I had made a booking never mind giving a good table, we ended up moving as the table they gave us was right next to the till in a corner blocking a door... Not quite romantic. But the food was amazing and even though the start of the night wasn't the best, the food made the night and we left happy!
Nice atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price for the Kings Road. A little cramped but that perhaps lends itself to the bustling cantina feel. I would go back.
We came in 15 people in total - had a great Christmas menu; loads and loads of appetizers of each kind, pizzas and pasta dishes for less than 30£. Great value. Great place and a Itallian band brief playing was a great touch. Great casual dinner. I would definitely recommend and go back.
