Chella Restaurant

About Chella Restaurant

This cosmopolitan Persian fusion restaurant on the Chiswick High Road is a popular meeting spot for locals, yummy mummies and media types who love the boutiquey interior and fresh, unique menu. Filled with wooden floors, simple flower arrangements and brightly patterned banquettes, Chella restaurant is suitable for business meetings, and the space has private dining options for events and cocktail parties. Chella’s menu is filled with old family recipes which have been given a modern makeover – we love the ash-e-reshteh soup made with Persian noodles, pulses and fresh herbs, and the gheimeh lamb stew with split yellow peas and dried limes cooked in a cinnamon and tomato sauce with aubergines and served with rice.

We have eaten at Chello, chiswick high street before and took family who haven't eaten at an iranian restaurant before, they all thoroughly enjoyed the mezze starter and the kebabs and stews, the decor and ambience were good along with the service would definitely go again and would recommend

Chella Chiswick,Saturday Early evening. Very busy, but service was prompt and smiley. Food was very good with 3 vegetarian choices. The rice accompaniment though was very dry and would benifit greatly with a sauce topping. The thin crispy chippati bread (£1.50) is delicious and a must. Pretty noisy when busy, but go again yes

We had a delicious and delightful meal at Chellas in Chiswick last night, and thoroughly enjoyed a mixed grill of meats and the selection of starters - both fab and the meats soooo tender and delicious! Highly recommended for a lovely night out - we were five and sat in the 'round room' and felt privately looked after.. thank you!

A second visit, several months apart, and not bad at all. Fun, decent enough food, good service, worth a visit. Better in a group than a couple.

A firm favourite of mine, Chella has the usual persian dishes but also some that I've never seen before. Stews with spinach are very earthy and fragant, with tender pieces of lamb. The staff are fabulous and friendly. Definately a great place for consistency, warmth & good value.
