We went to the Café Balti, Elm Park, last night for the first time, but not the last. We had 4 courses for £9.95. The Chicken Chat starter, was huge and lovely, the mixed Kebab was small and lovely, The choice on the offer is very good. The main courses, and side dishes, were excellent, the service perfect, the ambience/decor very good as well. I hope this was not just a lucky night, because this could become a regular for us.
Cafe Balti was great, nice food and good portions with friendly service.
I went to th Cafe Balti last night and what had seemed like good service on our first visit, felt more like hard sell. Pushing pappadumse etc, filling up almost full beer and wine glasses all the time, made me uncomfortable, especially as we'd taken two guests. The food was very tasty, and good value with the offer. The portions are a decent size so we took some home. Unfortunately, because we had more than four containers, we were charged £2. That's enough to stop me trying it again..
