Lovely lunch at Han, New Malden yesterday. Good value Korean food, good service, great building.
Han is a stylish venue with an Uptown feel. As you enter you walk past four traditional Korean pavillions then on to the modern NYC looking cocktail bar with a garden outside. Han has jaw-dropping VIP Karaoke rooms built to a very high standard suitable for anyone who wants to warm up their X-Factor skills. The food is first class. I had an amazing Vegetable Tempura starter, then shared grilled sweet beef, prawn, and scalope skewers rice dips & a tofu hotpot. V. Healthy
Visited Han on a Friday evening as a birthday celebration. We were treated like guests of honour and given a lovely table in one of the pavilions. Service was possibly a little over attentive, but the staff were so lovely and keen to tell us about their food that it was forgivable. Not that busy and more drinkers than diners, but the food was lovely. We will definitely return!
Han in New Malden has a distinctive atmosphere and great food. The layout is unique and offers room for privacy in groups. The owner and waiter were also very helpful in suggesting items in the menu and went out of their way in accommodating us. Highly recommended!
The decor was beautiful, toilets clean and staff were friendly. Food wasn't bad but certainly not as good as other Korean restaurants in the area and overpriced in comparison.
