Porters in Covent Gardens is a reliable English restaurant. It specialises in pies and school dinner type yummy puddings. We had a good quiet table and the service, though rushed at the start, became more relaxed and better as the evening progressed. The quality of the food was good but I was surprised to get tomato ketchup with my steak. The ambience was comfortable and we would happily go back to the restaurant.

Porters in Covent Garden had a bustling Christmas vibe. Warm mulled wine at the bar before dinner was perfect on a cold winter's evening. Our waiter was very attentive going through the menu and sharing his favourites. The wild boar sausages are good. My mum is allergic to dairy and they brought out a different menu for her and created a special pudding of meringue, berries and sorbet.
Porters Covent Garden London Very pleasant and a favourite menu. Cheery and friendly service remains a good venue pre theatre. But filthy WCs both men and women's, which was totally unnecessary.
nice food highky recomnend it noit to costly either will be going again good portion to. 10 out ouf 10 by us. l and t.
