Brockwell Park

About Brockwell Park

This hilly, historic park has ornamental ponds, formal flower beds, a walled 'old English' herbaceous flower garden, and a 19th century clock tower.

There's a wide range of outdoor sports facilities, including basketball, football, cricket, tennis courts and Brockwell Lido; a 1930s style lido which is one of London's biggest and most popular outdoor swimming pools.

Facilities include a children's dog-free play area with a sandpit, a paddling pool and a purpose-built BMX track. There is also a picnic area and changing rooms.

There is a café in Brockwell Hall, a 200 year old historic building, in the centre of the park.

There is also a community greenhouse project in the park for volunteers - please telephone 07957 269794 for details.
