Rhodes Twenty Four

Food was excellent although I had the Leek starter which kind of did very little for me unfortunately. The Venison and Game Toast was excellent and the medley of puddings, well what can you say!

Restaurant was quite busy and I felt we where left sitting about waiting for something to happen a few times which was a little annoying considering the number of staff they have.

In general the location and views it affords when dark are terrific. Good time was had !

set at the top of a tower block the views were fantastic, 'Rhodes 24' offers a great menu and the quality of food was fantastic, the wine list had a fanastic range, and i thought my date was about to trade me in for another portion of bread and butter pudding. not cheap and portions arent massive but a really lovely evening.

The location is breathtaking - a must to visit. We went at nighttime and it's impossible to visualise that the fairyland below was a razed to the ground bomb site as recently as the 'fifties. Food relatively expensive - but it is the City, and you get Gary's cooking Having said all that it is not exorbitant and is very good value especially for a small party as with us on our daughter's birthday. She obviously enjoyed it, and to be recommended for such an occasion

Rhodes 24 had fantastic views over London, we didnt have window seat initially but staff happily offered to move us to window for the dessert course once one became free. Not being frequent visitors to top restaurants, this was the most expensive meal we'd ever eaten but also the best by far.
