Richoux
About Richoux
An iconic London institution, Richoux is the place to sip and be seen in central London. Perfect for posh pre-theatre bites, business breakfasts and afternoon tea this renowned restaurant chain dates back to 1909 when it opened as a prestigious patisserie and confectioner in the capital. Needless to say, the puddings and cakes here are to die for, and the Piccadilly branch of Richoux is located directly across the road from the Royal Academy making it convenient for the Ritz, Old Bond Street and the Burlington Arcade. The classic cafe menu at Richoux is filled with old-school favourites, and we adore the signature eggs Benedict with English ham, and the classic Richoux club sandwich.

On a freezing winer's day, it's lovely to enter the warm ambiance of Richoux on Piccadilly. Wise to book in advance with the Hockney exhibition just across the street. I always feel like I am back in the 1940s in this tea room that never seems to change as fast food venues come and go all around it.
Food fine but service disappointing [Richoux Picadilly]
A group of 8 of us lunched at Richoux on Piccadilly. We thought the food was good but the place seemed to be understaffed as the service was very slow and erratic. Our waitress seemed to be covering a wide area and as we were in an alcove (which was ideal for our group) we did find it difficult to attract attention. A good kitchen let down by poor service.
It's always a pleasure to lunch at Richoux on Piccadilly. Like entering a former era pre-fast food. Food and service is always good. But best of all is the atmosphere.
Richoux, Piccadilly, London. Excellent food and service. Good value for money.
