Brompton Bar and Grill is a British Bistro that specialises in seasonal food with a good emphasis on grills. The wine list is predominately French but covers some good new world wines as well. An eclectic mix of art and pictures mixed in with the bold brash bar with zinc top makes a good atmosphere for lunch and dinner. Regular Jazz nights in the basement bar are a regular feature on most Thursdays nights.

Excellent set lunch for £15.50 or the Top Table one for £20. Beautifully cooked food and faultless service. Good location for the Victoria & Albert Museum too.

An exceptional set menu lunch at The Brompton Bar and Grill... My guest's devilled whitebait was crisp and bright-- my single mushroom ravioli crammed with a huge variety made a perfect starter. A fish stew and a wonderful lamp chop with stuffed kidney both excellent... good value at £20 for two courses-- substantial choice of wines by the glass.
A very pleasant Sunday. Like most of the reviews here. A friendly restaurant, lovely service and tasty food. We arrived early and were given a table by the window. The vibe in here is chilled. Would definately return.
The Brompton Bar and Grill South Kensington, London I took my girlfriend here for her birthday on a Tuesday night for a pre-Theatre dinner. We both found the staff to be friendly and extremely accommodating. I had mentioned in my booking that it was her birthday, so when we asked for the bill, three members of staff brought out some ice cream with a lit candle and sung her happy birthday, an extra special touch. The atmosphere was warm, and the food was beautifully presented and flavorsome.
