This was my 3rd visit to 4 0 9 and again, I really loved it. Food was excellent and service was good, but the restaurant was bit busy so they were bit slow. Still...great place!

We had an outstanding Mother's Day lunch at Four o Nine. The food, service, atmosphere was spot on. I love this place, it never fails to impress.

Four o nine is a nice little gem hidden away on clapham high street. They offered the lady a free glass of champagne on arrival which was a nice touch. The bread was offered with some portuguese olive oil in ze french accent oui oui. We had the roast beef which was cooked perfectly though with a bit too much fat. I still recommend it as well as the hot chocolate pudding. The only disappointment was that the sunday lunch deal for £15 was not offered, even though we went on sunday at lunch time.

The Four o nine in Clapham always delivers good food. Three of us went for the see bass starter and one the tuna carpaccio. All delicious and wellproportioned. Three steaks and one sea bream later we could only manage one pudding but it was lovely.

My fourth or fifth visit to four o nine. Great place hidden away above the Clapham North pub. Wonderful cocktails. Food is always fab, staff are really friendly but the service is always slow.

So if you are not in a hurry it is fab!
