Established in 1974, this ever popular and innovative vegetarian restaurant and takeaway offers outstanding value from its freshly-prepared, daily-changing A La Carte menu with vegan and wheat-free options. Three-course meals cost under 10 pounds and there is no corkage charge for BYO's. Seating is cramped and at peak times you may have to queue on the narrow stairs and be prepared to share tables, but portions are generous. The basement restaurant is air-conditioned.
