Afghan Kitchen

‘Ooh, I could just do with an Afghan this evening’. Not a phrase on everyone’s lips - unless it’s at the end of a crap joke involving the words Bin Laden, Bush and pretzel, but this little place could change all that. On our last visit they’d run out of everything but chicken in yoghurt, but we’re not complaining – this is honestly some of the best food we’ve tasted since we started writing these pesky guides and that’s no mean feat. It’s tasty, filling, unusual and so well priced you’ll want to snog the waitress. A flight to Kabul is looking more appealing by the minute.
