Bibendum Restaurant

About Bibendum Restaurant

Bibendum, the flagship of the famed Conran gastronomic empire, is perhaps best known for its very recognisable stained glass window. But this restaurant has much more to offer than simply the Michelin Man. This is contemporary dining at its best, delivering fantastic French food in a spacious, chic and airy setting which really does make the most of the incredible proto-Art Deco building which Bibendum calls home. Considered to be one of London’s most consistently excellent restaurants, Bibendum offers a strong seasonal menu with the trademark confident simplicity of founding chef Simon Hopkinson who has passed the kitchen baton to the equally talented Matthew Harris.

We ate in the main restaurant at Bibendum, London. A beautiful restaurant with food and service to match. Very good value set price menus.

Celebrated my birthday at Bibendum, Chelsea. Had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed the tuna Asian salad starter, pork belly mains and the crème brule desert. Fellow diner wasn't quite as impressed with his meal - starter was too big, mushroom tart and mains was a little tasteless - seabass. Somewhat pricey but we were expecting that. Would go again if they ever did a toptable deal.
