About Prism Brasserie & Bar

Occupying the sensational former Bank of New York building on Leadenhall Street in the City of London. The long narrow lower ground floor bar, set amid the vaults below the main room, is both intimate and fun, serving excellent bar food an bar bites. The feel of this room is in stark contrast to the vast ceiling height and airy space of the main restaurant. This excellent restaurant offers ambience and great cuisine in a landmark building at the heart of the City.

Prism Brasserie was lovely. At first we thought that it was going to be empty and lack atmosphere (we went on a Thursday evening) but it did slowly get a few more dinner guests so that, combined with the live piano provided a lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent and the service fantastic. Although not cheap, it was well worth the money and I would definitely go back.

Prism, London EC3 My third visit to Prism and, again, great service and food. Alas, didn't partake in any of their cocktails seeing as it was a working lunch (and I had to actually work!) but wouldn't hesitate to return.

We visited Prism in the evening, pre Christmas. We had a lovely time. The place was very busy but because there is so much space between the tables we didn't feel crowded. Lots of suits and posh frocks but nevertheless very relaxed. The food was excellent and there was a selection of affordable wine on the menu. The service was also excellent- very friendly but effecient. I will certainly visit again.

A fantastic "wow" venue to have lunch at the very heart of the City yet still somehow feels like a hidden gem. Their ribeye steak remains one of the best in town.

Prism Secrets of the City walk has been specially designed for Prism Brasserie by Richard Bath and Rebecca Ford of Custom Walks London, to give some surprising insights into the history of our small section of the Square Mile.
