Royal Exchange Grand Café and Bar
About Royal Exchange Grand Café and Bar
Located in one of the City’s most magnificent landmarks, The Royal Exchange Grand Café attracts a mix of smart local business professionals, shoppers and tourists who use it as an atmospheric pit stop any time of day. Built in 1565, The Royal Exchange has survived two fires and its Grade 1 listed columns and arches are now home to a selection of luxury shops and this great restaurant. Situated in the original courtyard, a chic oval bar serves a superb selection of crustaceans. Head chef Oliver Prince has combined his passion and enthusiasm for cooking with seasonal ingredients to create a simple, tasty and elegant menu. Popular dishes include the roast lobster thermidor with new potatoes and salad; the chargrilled sirloin steak with chips and Béarnaise; and the chocolate profiteroles.

great food and service
The Royal Exchange Grand Cafe and Bar in London, was in a fantastic location - inside and out, and the room was lovely. The service was fantastic in organising our meal, and during it. The food was tasty, though not mind-blowing. The wines and champagnes that we chose were very, very good, thanks to the help of our waitress. Our table was booked for 2, and we had to leave by 4:30 but they were slow at bringing out our courses. They extended the time but still felt rushed. Great overall though!
The service, food and atmosphere was excellent at Royal exchange. I had 12 people as guests, everyone enjoyed the environment and service, I will be booking again.
We had a group dinner for 10 people in the private dining area of the Royal Exchange. The private dining area is fantastic for business. We had our own wait staff whos service was impeccable and friendly. The food was very tasty and the wine list extensive. The private area overlooks the main court area which gave the room a great feel to it. Everyone raved about the location/building. I would highly recommend to anyone!
The Royal Exchange private room is a fantastic venue and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here. I cannot rate it highly enough and would book it again without hesitation.
