Floridita encompasses the best in Cuban music, cocktails, cigars, food, design and hospitality. Downstairs in the original Mezzo building, a gleaming ten metre bar and varied seating areas create a vibrant atmosphere in which to enjoy the best daiquiris in the world. The Floridita restaurant menu, developed by Executive Chef Andrew Rose, is an ingredient-led, modern interpretation of cosmopolitan Cuban and Latin American cuisine and includes snapper ceviche, Pata Negra Ham, charcoal-grilled Langosta (Cuban crayfish) and butterflied milk-fed leg of lamb. The bar offers a selection of aperitivos and sharing dishes. Cuba has always been at the forefront of Latin music culture, as illustrated by the phenomenal global success of the Buena Vista Social Club, and the Floridita bar and dance floor resound on a nightly basis to the rich rhythm of live Cuban bands and spectacular cabaret, evolving later in the evening into more modern Cuban, Latin and international beats, mixed by leading international DJs.

The cool modern interior of this Soho restaurant and bar belie its energy and Latin pazzazz. Floridita is Cuban through and through from the live music to the cigars and, of course, the Cuban and Latin American cuisine. There is a dance floor and the place stays open until very late six nights a week. The Latin music adds to the buzz and there are live acts and DJ towards the end of the week. Two left feet? The Globe Girls Performance

Extravagantly bejewelled, The Globe Girls will perform routines and songs from different eras incorporating the glamorous bygone days of Havana and Latin America. Accompanying The Globe Girls are some of the finest Cuban musicians, including resident Latin American band 'Clasicos del Son'.
Covarrubias Son Concert
