About The Admiral Codrington
Located between South Kensington and Sloane Square tube stations, The Admiral Codrington is an elegant, light-filled restaurant and gastro pub popular with arty locals and South Kensington sloanes. The dining room is part posh country living room, part business-lunch-chic, and the retractable roof and floral banquettes add to the sunny outside-inside ambience. Perfect for business dining, leisurely lunches and romantic tables for two in the evenings, this smart restaurant serves a brilliant British menu and highlights from The Admiral Codrington's kitchen include the crispy duck and watercress salad with hazelnuts and a citrus dressing; the confit Norfolk pork belly with cidered Bramley apples and red wine sauce; and the garden pea and Barkham blue cheese risotto.

One of the best burgers in town, would come back for sure.
Great food, pleaseant environment, though was not very busy early Sunday evening. Only disappointment was there were problems in bar with draught beers so unable to get desired beer order.
The food was very good, the fishcake with spinach very tasty and the brownie delicious. The service was pleasant and unobtrusive. The restaurant was very quiet on this Monday lunchtime and we felt rather cramped in one of the side booths, which had limited legroom.
Very poor service and it wasn't even that busy! Otherwise it was a nondescript meal. quite dissapointed.
Lovely atmosphere and brilliant food. All 7 of us left full and happy. I can personally reccommend the 100z Angus Hanger steak...beautiful! Would definately reccommend to anyone looking for a good quality and good value meal, followed by a drink in a lovely bar.
