Itchy review of Cottons

Reviewed by: Itchy

Cottons has some fairly tough competition in the shape of Mango Rooms up the road but it stands up to it like a true pro. If you want your Caribbean cuisine with less of a shiny, modern eclectic feel you’re in the right place. We’re talking brilliant food (the jerk chicken must be the best in London), a huge array of mind-fiddling rums to get lashed on and a proper friendly vibe. We love this place, as do countless celebrities – not that we’d ever admit to being swayed by the fact that Sisqo eats here. Oh ok we would - we have the Thong Song on repeat in the office. Join us here for dinner – we promise we won’t bring any of our own CDs. A truly top-notch place.

Lonely Planet review of Cottons

Far more enticing than it sounds, Cottons is one of the most authentic Caribbean eateries in town, offering up robust island specials like jerk chicken and curried goat, and specialising in outrageously head-banging rum-based cocktails. The friendly atmosphere and cheerful surroundings will bring out the party monster in anyone.
