Prospect Of Whitby

One of the hundreds of London pubs that claim to be the oldest, this riverside boozer is well worth checking out. There's an a-la-carte restaurant upstairs, with a terrace and balcony for excellent views of the Isle of Dogs. Food is good, though not cheap, and the crowd is an amusing mix of locals and tourists. Check out the rolled eyes as the barstaff get lynched for the fifteenth time that night... 'geez Stan ain't it just all so quaint.'
