Baltic Restaurant and Bar, is housed in an eighteenth century former coach builder’s works and although redesigned, the original character is beautifully retained. With wooden trussed ceilings, skylights and clean lines, Baltic diners enjoy a truly unique experience.
Specialising in the cuisines of Eastern Europe, the menu offers an extensive a la carte selection. Also an ideal choice for theatre lovers, with the Young and Old Vice being a few minutes walk away. A pre theatre/set menu is offered at a fixed price of 2 courses for £14.50 or for 3 courses, £17.50. Food aside, the bar has an extensive cocktails list carefully prepared by the specialist bar team.

Very impressed with everything thing at this place. Definitely recommended.
I went to Baltic on Saturday eve with a group of friends for a relaxed Hen night of cocktails. The staff were very helpful with recommendations, all of which were delicious. The pear vodka shot was delicious! The atmosphere was relaxed and attentive, the decor stylish and you could see that all were having a great time whether they were having just cocktails or dining. Though we didn't eat, the food we did see being delivered looked very appetising. All in all, a lovely evening out, recommended.
Baltic, Blackfriars Road, London, SE1. Four of us had dinner here on a Friday. Our plan for an aperitif in the bar was scuppered by the numbers present & the lack of breathing space! We ate early! The service was most attentive and friendly. The food was very good although we would like to have seen more vegetables included with the main dishes. The house white wine was fine, better than the SA red we selected. 3 courses plus wine & coffee cost £60pp. We will definitely return for a 3rd visit.
Not much in the form of vegetarian options. Otherwise good.
