Frederick's
About Frederick's
Nestling in amongst the wonderful, atmospheric antique shops of Camden Passage in London’s chic Islington, Frederick’s Restaurant has been a local favourite for more than 40 years. A large, spacious and bright restaurant with a spectacular vaulted glass ceiling, comfortable furnishings in simple, warm colours and original tiled floors, as well as a hidden garden for those summer evenings, Frederick’s has a loyal following among families, theatre goers (the Almeida and Sadler’s Wells are nearby) and of course antique seekers. Sophisticated modern European food is the Frederick’s speciality with dishes attractively presented and full of creative flavour, accompanied by an excellent wine list offering both affordable and luxury vintages alike.

Lovely ambience, food very nice but expensive for what it was, quality very good though, and service was attentive.
Quite often the food in a restaurant is let down by the service. Not so at Fredericks where the service is pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive but the food is all a bit unimaginative and pedestrian. Overpriced for what it is - this restaurant needs to raise its game.
nice night out in angel; liked the restaurant and had a nice cocktail area to start with. would recommend
Fredericks in Camden Passage. Excellent meal although the service was somewhat slow.
Fredericks is a lovely venue with a lively atmosphere. Very good menu, especially starters. scallops were cooked to perfection and the bouillabaisse was also excellent. Could have easily filled myself on the bread which was delicious. Definitely recommend.
