Poor service, cold Sunday roast. No wonder it was empty - think everyone else was at the Paradise. Such a shame as such potential.

They don't do tapas anymore, just a typical (quite expensive, especially since you didn't even have a waiter) gastropub menu. We ended up getting burgers which were off the bar menu and very good, but overall we were a bit disappointed that there were no more tapas!

Booked William IV (Kensal Green) as it is close to where I live. On arrival we were taken to the restaurant which is at the back of the pub. There was no one in there at all & we felt a bit isolated & you could hear the chef's radio music over the pub music which was annoying. We asked if we could eat in the pub instead which wasn't a problem. We ordered a bottle of wine but got given 2 glasses.Steak & chips was really good and the waitress was attentive. Played Snow Patrol on constant repeat.

oh dear! i went here cause i kept hearing how great the food was....maybe i came on an off day but i had a sunady roast. it was fatty and dry...not impressed. For starter we had spring rolls which were prob just taken out of the freezer. there only seemed to be one person serving the whole pub, and he was lovely and friendly but obviously was not able to do everything on his own, so service became slow etc.....with other great gastropubs in the area i think The william 1V needs some improvement
