A totally unique neighbourhood venue, Souk cleverly blends food, drink and music giving each equal billing to produce an experience that is totally relaxed and enjoyable. Sensuous surroundings with – as you might have guessed – a glorious Eastern vibe greet guests to Souk. Low bench seating is scattered with silk cushions, the room is lit with low hanging metal lanterns and drinks are rested on tin-topped tables. Music is central to the Souk experience with resident and guest DJs bringing the best soulful, funky world sounds to the table with a policy encompassing house, electro and minimal techno. Equal attention to detail has gone in to the offerings from Souk’s bar and kitchen, the cocktail list including classics as well as new creations made with fresh fruit, top brand name and boutique spirits and great care too, while the menu combines Eastern flavours with a Western twist, numerous dishes designed to be shared.
