For a cheap and cheerful night out in South Kensington, Da Spago on Glendower Place – formerly known just as Spago – has undergone a complete refurbishment which has impressed local pizzaphiles. Famous for its pizza by the metre and traditional pasta dishes, the restaurant also serves a wide range of soups, salads and risottos, and the dining room at Da Spago is suitable for business lunches. We love the fact the large screens make this a great place for sports-watching. Don't miss the home-made pappardelle with bolognese sauce and porcini mushrooms; or the ligure pizza made with buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil pesto and pine nuts.

Pizzas were great, service not so much. Wasn't expecting to pour my own wine!
Da Spago, London SW7 Great rustic Italian restaurant within walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall. Service was quick and efficient and the food was good. The pizzas were amazing but be warned the pepperoni is hot. I had the seafood pasta which was delicious and packed with seafood. Will definitely eat there again. One word of warning - be careful in the ladies toilets there is a deceptive step which could cause problems!
We had dinner at Da Spago just before a show at the Royal Albert Hall. The food was prepared very quickly and it was delicious. The pizza and the desserts were sensation. The raviolini was also tasty however the serving was a bit on the small side. Service was good. Great value.
Da Spago was lovely - good pizza and nice atmosphere post 8.30... was dead until then and then got rammed! waiters a bit disinterested
Dined at Da Spago in South Kensington on Saturday night. Given it's location our meal was excellent value. The food was tasty with a good range of options. The service could have been more attentive. We had to ask for menus, we'd been seating for 5 minutes without them, and then had to prompt staff at each stage. However they were very pleasant and efficient once you had their attention.
