For a cheap and cheerful night out in South Kensington, Da Spago on Glendower Place – formerly known just as Spago – has undergone a complete refurbishment which has impressed local pizzaphiles. Famous for its pizza by the metre and traditional pasta dishes, the restaurant also serves a wide range of soups, salads and risottos, and the dining room at Da Spago is suitable for business lunches. We love the fact the large screens make this a great place for sports-watching. Don't miss the home-made pappardelle with bolognese sauce and porcini mushrooms; or the ligure pizza made with buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil pesto and pine nuts.

Da Spago is a great find offering reasonably priced (by South Kensington standards at least!) authentic italian food. Decor is simple and traditional although the place is a little dark. Service is basic but I would definitley reccomend this to anyone in the area.
Da spaga is a nice restaurant for a quick dinner. Great location close by tube.
I went to Da Spago in South Kensington on Monday evening before heading to the Royal Albert Hall and thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. Although perhaps the starters were limited and pricey, there was much more choice for the mains and they were more reasonably priced. The food itself could not be faulted. The service was very polite and friendly. We went quite early on, but by the time we left around 7pm it had a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely return.
Fantastic!!! Great pizza, great location!! A real gem!
This was a walk down memory lane for us. My friend and I used to eat here regularly 20 years ago. We wre pleased that the standard of food has remained good.
