Excellent location in Knightsbridge
This is a hotel from the 1970's, built in the round. There is an attached small casino as well. We were on an upper floor with a distant view of the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. Our room was an updated one. The rooms all appear to be of a wedge shape. We traveled with our older teen child, and with the rollaway in our king room, it was quite cramped. We only had the rollaway bed in the room for sleeping and had housekeeping remove it each morning and return it late in the evening. The rollaway was an additional 50 pounds/night. I appreciated having the mini bar for storing small food items. The concierge service was good, although we only used them for restaurant suggestions. The lobby area is attractive, there is an adjacent small lounge and a restaurant too. Lots of interesting small back streets to wander through right out the front door. Out the back door was the tube station.
not a luxury hotel
Stayed here several times over the years. location is perfect and views from the higher rooms is fantastic. Rooms are nice , beds are very comfortable and bathrooms great.
but that is where the good stuff ends.
On my most recent stay was in one of the " Panoramic Rooms " with wooden floors , this could be nice if it was not for the door connecting to the next room. No sound isolation what so ever , was like having someone walk next to your bed in high heals late night or early morning and part taking in a conference call when the guest next door was on the phone.
Staff is not up to par for a luxury hotel. Room smelled of some scented air freshener ,
terrible.
Will relocate to the MO across the street next time.

GREAT!
I have stayed at the Park Tower many times. It is in the most perfect area and the staff are great. Across the street from Harvey Nichols and 3-4 blocks from Harrods. If you are a walker you can walk to Oxford Street and Buckingham Palace in 15 or so minutes. The staff is what makes The Park Tower great, from the doormen to housekeeping everything is perfect. The thing that most impressed me was I had a kidney stone while staying at the hotel. They called a doctor ( who came to the hotel) they checked on me and made me feel I was not alone. While the Park Tower is pricey, it is all worth it.
