Seven Dials - Restaurants
Seven Dials offers a diverse mix of dining experiences from French and modern British to organic, vegan, Portuguese, Brazilian and Lebanese. Three eateries worth noting are to be found in Monmouth Street. C'est Ici is a delightful authentic French bakery and coffee shop that serves a full selection of daily baked pastries, baguettes, snacks and breakfast throughout the day. Mon Plaisir is possibly London's oldest French restaurant and has been serving up French cuisine for over half a century. It still captures the feeling of French decadence in the forties. Modern British cuisine is the flavour of the day at Brasserie Max in the Covent Garden hotel, it's buzzy and popular with pre and post theatre diners.
Neal's Yard is a haven for organic, fresh and good quality cuisine. Neal's Yard Dairy, established in 1979 stocks over 50 different cheeses and the Neal's Yard Salad Bar specialises in Lebanese, Brazilian and Portuguese and Brazilian vegan and vegetarian meals. In the Thomas Neal Centre, the new Progresso café sells fair-trade organic coffee from Honduras, Ethiopia and Indonesia.
