Toptable says about Roussillon

Established in Pimlico in 1997, the Michelin-starred Roussillon is still one of London's best kept secrets. Chef Alexis Gauthier uses the finest seasonal ingredients, sourced from British producers where possible, to create exquisite modern French fare. In addition to the a la carte and tasting menu, Gauthier also provides a seasonal fruit and vegetable menu designed with vegetarians in mind. Popular dishes include scallops with cured ham and a parsley and lime dressing; wild seabass three ways; and Gloucester Old Spot pork with apple and foie gras. The dining room itself is an elegant but unpretentious space, well suited to low-key business lunches and romantic dinners for two, and the service is flawless throughout. Whatever the occasion, Roussillon guarantees an unforgettable fine dining experience.

Roussillon is one of my favourite restaurants - had the 10 year anniversairy dinner last night and every single course was exquisite. A truffle lover's paradise. Service was attentive, courteous and patient and the wine choices were unusual and perfectly matched to the food. Can't wait to go back.

A first class lunch at Roussillon and not even the slightest hesitation when asked to increase the number of diners not once, but twice, from 8 to 10 at very short notice. Everyone enjoyed the food and the quality wines that were served and an experience that you will go a long way to beat for a taste of France in SW1.

Dining at Roussillion was a wonderful experience from the food to the waiter with his exentensive knowledge of what wines to suggest for each meal. The service was attentive but not stifiling. An excellant venue to entertain clients.
