Salieri Restaurant
About Salieri Restaurant
A perfect spot for pre or post theatre dining - good location and last orders for food taken at midnight. The interior style is 'theatrical nostalgia' with lots of photographs, mirrors and puppets. Huge gold swag and tail curtains and antiquity style statues adorn the entrance. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating - definitely a place to visit time and time again. The menu has a wide selection of French and Italian dishes, pastas and grills. Start with the soupe de poissons or avocado pear with prawns and move onto sea bass Salieri or noisettes d'agneau perigourdin.

This was the second time I had been here for a meal, and it was once again FANTASTIC! Really made the evening special. We went here before seeing a show, and was impressed with the service, the food and the cost. Would definitely recommend.
We visited Salieri on The Strand for a pre-theatre meal At 6pm the place was busy & buzzy. We ordered off the set menus. My three friends all had the crab cocktail followed by steak and chips. The cocktail received a unamimous thumbs up. Each professed their steak to be excellent and cooked exactly how they wanted it. My tortolleni was not the best. House Merlot was very good indee. It was sometimes difficult to catch a waiter butthey were good natured and we left by 7.20 without feeling rushed.
A very pleasant evening with delicious food. The only niggle was having to wait 17 minutes from arrival to be asked if we wanted anything to drink while reading the menu.
Salieri Resturant, The Strand, London WC2 Lunched at Salieri's with my sister on Friday. Prawn cocktail for her (generous portion of prawns) and perfectly prepared calamari for me. The loin of pork which my sister ordered was excellent and my chicken pasta in a creamy mushroom and red pepper sauce was absolutely delicious. I could not manage a desert and sipped a double expresso whilst she waxed delirious about her panacotta. Pleasant service in a calm, relaxed atmosphere.
The Christmas set menu was great value at Salieri - the only good quality Christmas dinner I could find in Central London at this price!
