Salloos

About Salloos

Only a hop, skip and jump away from Hyde Park, Saloos restaurant boasts a peaceful location on a Knightsbridge side street. It’s easy to miss, but you’d be doing yourself a disservice – the family-run restaurant has been serving up high-end authentic Pakistani cuisine to loyal customers for over three decades. Friendly staff are knowledgeable and happy to guide diners through the menu; specialities like their exquisite tandoori lamb chops and chicken Karahi, especially, are not to be missed. Smoky poppadoms and the large range of freshly made breads also come highly recommended. Decor here is elegant and understated so as not to draw focus from the star of the show – the food – however the first floor dining room is livened up with large windows and bright artwork. Salloos also has an extensive wine list.

A splendid restaurant tucked away in fashionable Knightsbridge. The food is of a high quality although the portions could be significantly more generous, especially given Salloos is a very expensive restaurant to eat in. For those looking for a holistically halal experience, the availability of alcohol and the presence of a bar are both very negative factors.

I love this place it truley is a touch of pakistan and I can even say it may even beat my mums food. The shahi kofta are my favourite :) I highly reccomend this place. However, be prepared for a huge bill.

The night started off well with us finding free parking in the road nearby - result!! From then on the night got better and better. The food was great, being valentines night the ambience was great and the service and value for money I felt was top class. Definately worth a visit.!!

Salloos - excellent food and overall dining experience..not cheap but worth every penny of it...chicken melts in your mouth and prawns are to die for real pakistani cuisine - very spicy though
