San Lorenzo
About San Lorenzo
While other restaurants come and go, Wimbledon’s San Lorenzo remains a stalwart on the South West London dining scene. Frequented by lucky locals as well as visiting tennis aces, including Andre Agassi, the Williams sisters and Boris Becker who calls it "my home away from home", San Lorenzo’s classically styled interior and secluded courtyard offer relaxed Italian dining at its very best. With a menu rooted firmly in Tuscany, San Lorenzo explores the sunniest of flavours in generous, hearty dishes featuring entirely handmade pasta, bread, cantucci and ice cream. An enduring part of local history, San Lorenzo continues to appeal to a new generation or discerning diners more than forty years after first opening its doors.

San Lorenzo is a very good local restaurant - the menu is not extensive but it's all the better for that, focussing on less and delivering more. The service is good and the ambience pleasant. One if the best eateries in Wimbledon.
They didn't have our reservation so we ended up sitting on our own in the back room.
A great dinner in San Lorenzo. Although the service was rather slow, we were a big group. And the pizza was one of the best I've ever tasted... well worth the wait! The minestrone soup was also very tasty. I would definitely go back again.
San Lorenzo, Wimbledon This restaurant was packed the first weekend in January when most restaurants have quiet spells, so it shows it is a very popular choice of dining in Wimbledon. Will definitely visit again.
Fantastic food, great, staff and plenty of personal touches!
