The Seven Stars

About The Seven Stars

Built in 1602 and originally called The League of Seven Stars after the seven provinces of the Dutch Republic, this unspoiled, one-bar freehouse behind the Royal Courts of Justice has been tenanted for the last eight years by cookbook writer and sometime TV food programme presenter Roxy Beaujolais. She and her husband tactfully restored and enhanced it, and its cooking, conviviality and style have been appreciated: it was declared London Best Pub of 2003 by Time Out, and London Dining Pub of the Year 2007 by the Good Pub Guide. Simple but imaginative food is always available seven days a week until 21.30.
