• Good Wood and Wood Works: Contemporary Wooden Art and Craft at Riverside Gallery

  Working in wood is one of the oldest native crafts. The aim of this quirky open exhibition is change the public's perception of this marginalised medium and to conceptually take wood out of the garden shed, the craft fair and the new age festival to showcase the skill, efforts, talent, imagination and innovation involved.

• Modus: The Stuff of Memories - Embroidered Textiles at Riverside Gallery

  Modus is a group of like-minded embroiderers celebrating its twentieth year. This show will present some of the changes in 'textile art' over this time as well as our current work. We meet and explore new techniques together but produce very individual and varied work ranging from quilting through machine embroidery, from silk painting through stitched photographic images.

• Sydney R. Jones: Thames Triumphant at Riverside Gallery

  An exhibition celebrating the work of artist and author Sydney R Jones, who between 1920-1966 published a series of prints, etchings and books on the River Thames, the English countryside and London. Thames Triumphant brings together a selection of his most celebrated work, published at the outbreak of WWII, and takes a memorable journey down Old Father Thames from its source, through the capital to the sea.
