Brew Wharf

About Brew Wharf

Brew Wharf is a restaurant and micro-brewery in London’s Bankside that is a great place to dine, bask in the sunshine (seasonal) and, if you’re lucky, catch a view of the brewers at their art. Set under soaring railway arches by Borough Market and Vinopolis, the dining rooms and terrace are casual, modern, well-designed spaces with so much vertical space you’ll feel light-headed. Or maybe that’s the superb brew, including Brew Whar’s own Wharf Best and seasonal offerings. Brewing takes place about every other Tuesday and beers can be taken away for home consumption. Oh the food! Modern European with a special emphasis on fish, like beer-battered fish and chips.

Brew Wharf Yard, Stoney Street, London, SE1 9AD Nice bright venue, friendly staff, very busy, my friend ordered the lamb shank, which was very tough, as it should normally fall off the bone, not a problem the waiter took it back and the friend was able to order the chicken which was fine. Bit pricey for what you get .. Choritzo and squid starter very good, with lots of pitta bread, boar pate nice, not enough bread ..

The Brew Wharf at Borough Market, London, SE1, is a beer-lover's heaven, with numerous draught & bottled beers. But other drinks ARE available. Food is perfectly fine brasserie-type favourites. Bar is BUSY after work.

Brew Wharf, London was a nice venue for lunch. Food was lovely and although the waiter was very pleasant his knowledge was not great. He asked me what the cheese was called he didn't know the name of, when it arrived on my plate and served me up sea bream instead of pollock with a "Sorry I forgot to tell you". However it was an enjoyable meal and I would return.

Been to Brew Wahrf a few years back mid week and really enjoyed it. This time it felt overpriced for what it was and the food was mediocre - not worth the price tag for sure! Its a great space undoubtedly but with the food lackign and service a little below par I wont be going back anytime soon.
