We went to High Timber for lunch - the service and food were both excellent, but we found it rather expensive. The only menu available is the A La Carte - perfectly acceptable for dinner, but I feel the restaurant would benefit from having a set menu option at lunch time.

A good set lunch menu made this really good value, and the tour of the wine cellar was a bonus. Good food and wine so cant really go wrong!!!

After reading previous reviews I expected the restaurant to be busier for a Friday night. However, this did not spoil an enjoyable evening, as the food and wine were delicious! I ordered the smaller of Rib Eye steaks (medium) which was cooked to perfection. The choice of sauces to accompany your meal all looked great, but I opted for the creamy peppercorn. Situated right by the river this is a perfect place to grab a bite to eat, especially in the summer. I will be sure to visit again soon!

High Timber London : Steaks were good, however evening was let down by very indifferent, verging on rude, service by waiter. A huge constrast to the staff at the bar and on the door. I would go back for the view, however would hesitate to recommend.
