About The Loft
Why not relax in stylish surroundings and enjoy superb eclectic cuisine. What better to accompany your meal than a bottle of wine from our Mercure's signature, Les Grand Vins. These fine wines are selected at a blind tasting by a panel of experts and knowledgeable customers and sold at a low mark up. With a combination of delicious flavours, the wine and the affordable prices, it is little wonder that The Loft has become a favourite for both business and residential community. Our Head Chef Stevan Bonnar and his team are justifiably proud and would like the opportunity to show you.

Pretty shocking experience - I was standing in the restaurant for 10 mintes before being seated, restaurant was empty and the member of staff wa no where to be seen. Waiter friendly but away with the fairies. Food was nice but nothing to write home about, I also feel it was over priced. Definitely would not return or recomend to anybody else.
The Loft is part of the Mercure hotel, but don't let this put you off. As it was New Year, the food was buffet style, so we would like to go again to try the normal menu. Staff were very attentive, though we did have to wait a while for our wine. The seafood was absolutely delicious, with King Prawns to die for. Champagne was topped up for people, however as we bought wine our glasses were removed, so missed out there. Overall we were very pleased and are looking forward to trying it again.
Arranged for work Christmas dinner. Very helpful when arranging it and it was nice to have separate area for the group. Service was good as were the wine recommendations. Food was also fine although not great, but then it's difficult to know what to expect from a set menu. Possibly a little over priced for what was had.
The Loft is fine for standard hotel food but that's about it. We had our Christmas meal here and the food was fine, nothing spectacular. The service was good but the ambience was dead. If you were staying at the hotel it would be okay to eat there but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
My friends and I enjoyed a fabulous meal at The Loft. Service was excellent and the Top Table offer ensured superb value for money. Will definately return. Good wine list too!
