The Good Earth

About The Good Earth

Traditional Chinese restaurant situated in Knightsbridge popular with locals as well as business types and the shopped out from Harrods. The decor is all oriental splendour and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. What's cooking? Traditional Chinese fare. Signature dishes include crispy fragrant duck, steamed seabass and mixed seafood platter. Plenty of vegetarian choices with faux chicken and prawn dishes and a monk's casserole - a mixture of preserved and fresh vegetables cooked in a clay pot.

Have been to Good Earth Knightsbridge a few years ago plus their Mill Hill restaurant and both were excellent. This time was disappointed, set meal at £39 per head is expensive, portions are very small and food was warm (not hot). Service is good, but I won't rush back here. Big thank you to the waiter who braved the busy road in the snow to get us a cab!

The Good Earth, Knightsbridge. Service and food both very good, marginally overpriced (but this is knightsbridge!) and ambience a little quiet but still worth a visit.

Good Earth- London. Very classy and yet easy for a family meal. I had made reservations for 5 people and the atmosphere was very pleasent. Meal quality authentic and light. Servers were pleasent and informal which added to the experience. Many thanks

We went to 'Good Earth' in Knightsbridge with some friends, as always food was superb. The restaurant was full even though it was a Monday night.
