The Cuban Restaurant and Bar in London’s ever fashionable Camden is a revolution in dining. You see, The Cuban is much more than dedicated to its style, the team going so far as to travel to Havana to source rums and borrow from local menus to produce the most authentic atmosphere possible. Watched over by the classic portrait of Che Guevara, The Cuban’s dining room is lively and vibrant, decorated in chilli red alongside bare brick walls, chalkboards, brightly coloured murals and Cuban flags. Went with a Groupon voucher, food was ok, paella quite nice and plenty of prawns so that was one plus. Supposed to offer 6 starters - nowhere near that amount. It was one large starter to share. Wine tasted like vinegar so asked to change which took 10 minutes. You'd think they'd want to make an effort!

The Cuban in Camden was very busy on a Friday night. Service was friendly enough but brisk and not overly attentive. Food was mixed - starters were delicious but mains were so-so with the duck breast especially being rather unappetising. Overpriced.

Great service, fun music and atmosphere. Prawns weren't great but the rest of the food was good. Over ordered - 6 tapas per person is way too much!
