Fancy A Pint? review of The Queen's Head & Artichoke

Nestling behind the back of the Royal College of Physicians, this place is handy for the Indian food nirvana of Drummond Street. It's packed during lunchtime and in the evenings, with the upstairs restaurant doing a booming business as well. The bar also serves an extensive tapes menu and daily specials, though we wouldn't classify them as cheap. There's some good ales on the pumps which are well kept. The place looks like a continental caff and if you can bag one of the capacious sofas you may well feel tempted to stay a while and hold forth on questions of existence and philosophy.
Itchy review of The Queen's Head & Artichoke

Flash gastronomy for punters that know what they want and how to get it. From cheap tapas to rustic home-style English classics, the portions here are good and wont break the budget you started this afternoon. Definitely worth the trip.
toptable.co.uk review of The Queen's Head & Artichoke

Once the beautiful Victorian interiors of this old pub were restored to
their original glory and the first floor dining room opened, along with
outside terrace for dining, the locals must have breathed a sigh of delight
before tucking into some seriously good gastropub grub. Business folk crowd
in at lunchtimes, while friendlier couples and groups pack in evenings and
weekends. There is something here to suit most palates and pockets. The
menu changes daily - another sign that they're serious about food here -
but we recently loved the fish chowder, and the aubergine, potato and
spinach bhaji with yoghurt. The wine list is heaven.
