12 Temple Place Restaurant, the ‘new Home of modern British cuisine’ was launched in June 2008 at Swissotel The Howard, London.
The cuisine is modern British which concentrates on using only regional local ingredients. Aberdeen born Brian Spark heads up the project as Executive Chef where the menu will be user friendly with dishes which combine traditional British recipes with modern innovations.
The restaurant has the capacity to seat 50 guests inside and another 50 outside in the Garden Courtyard where guests can enjoy al-fresco dining surrounded by waterfalls and plant life to create a serene dining experience.

We love the assiette of suckling pig with crackling, celeriac, apples and grain mustard; the pea and crab mousse with marjoram, poached crayfish and bisque foam; and the roast buccleuch beef fillet, oxtail and bone marrow pie.

12 Temple Rsetaurant was terrific value with the top table 50% off food deal, but I would not consider paying the full value. The food was beautifully presented, even perhaps too fancy at times, and the menu was very enticing. Some of my guests thought that perhaps too much attention was given to the presentation rather than the content of the food. Drinks, wine, coffe and water were at prices that reflected the full priced menu. A good evening if you are on the deal and careful with extras.
12, Temple Place was a great place to get away from any bustle that you might expect from a saturday night restaurant. The decor was fun and the service was the most impressive. Despite a small set menu, the food was fantastic, and it was both filling and well presented. For £25 i would recommend the eating experience although do be careful about the drinks cost mounting up.
We had dinner at 12 Temple Place Restaurant and were extremely satisfied with the quality of food, service, ambiance and attention to detail. We would definitely return and would recommend it to anyone who values superb food, presentation and a highly skilled staff who seem to enjoy their work. We found the food to be of exceptional quality with imaginative touches. The wine list is good value. Bravo!
I would highly recommend 12 Temple Place Restaurant . The food was delicious and the chef was very accommodating with the requests to change a couple of the dishes on the menu to accommodate personal preferences. ALL the dishes served were loved. We had the benefit of booking using a Toptable 50% off food deal which made it a very reasonable evening indeed. Service was very good and at just the right pace. Good atmosphere even though the restaurant wasn't full and is in a hotel.
I went to 12 Temple Place Restaurant with a group of colleagues. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, but we had booked very early (18:30 on a Thursday). By the time we had finished the meal it had filled up. Food was excellent and very good value with the Toptable deal.
