About Section 6 Art Projects

Secton 6 Art Projects is committed to supporting and enabling contemporary artists to bring interesting and challenging art to a wider audience in spaces that entwine the local environment with the arts in East London. It is a non-profit organisation, founded by two artists, which works to organise art in exhibitions in reclaimed spaces within East London. They work with a small collective of artists, primarily from the local area, working in different disciplines within the field of contemporary art. By putting contemporary art into an environment that has been reclaimed from disuse and abandonment, they aim to show a new angle to both the art and the spaces within which it is shown.
