My wife and I took both sets of parents to the Meat and Wine Company. The food was excellent. We all ordered steaks and they were fantastic. Unfortunately our visit this time was marred by our waiter who was condescending and plain rude. It's a shame as usually the service is excellent.
The Meat and Wine Company at Westfields in London offers a very nice setting, with a decor that could be almost David Lynch-esque. The service was very friendly but not attentive at all. We had to ask two or three times to get our wine order, the mayonnaise and the bill. The food was good, in particular the beef dishes, but it is a bit on the expensive side.
Good food, great service. We left very full after having half rack pork ribs and 200g steak with hand cut chips. Side vegetables aren't anything special - go for something else instead.
It's great atmosphere n food. Ideal for chilling out, parties and drinks.
One of my favourite restaurants, great steaks and an expansive wine list. Build some loyalty and even get a steak knife with your name on it!
