The view from the restaurant at the top of the National Portrait Gallery was splendid. The food equally so. Very tasty and good sized portions too. At top table prices for central London it was very good value indeed.
Great value and very good food on the 2/3 course set lunch. The outstanding feature is the view, worth going for that alone.
Staff were charming and service was prompt. The food was fresh and cooked impeccably. Wish qe could have lingered longer ...
Toptable reservation wasnt processed, so not table available. Host was very forgiving in finding one but meant we weren't able to benefit from the full TT deal.
Portrait Restaurant, London - went there for lunch special with partner as a surprise, after also a surprise visit to the nearby Da Vinci exhibition. Very pleasant atmosphere to sit and relax in after a few hours of gallery watching. The staff were friendly and warm, helpful but not too obtrusive. Had a great time and it made a very nice afternoon, before I had to head off to work in the evening. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks to all the staff for a fab experience.....
