Executive Chef Jason Atherton has earned his stripes with a stellar menu featuring signature dishes such as the tuna tartare with toasted pine nuts, chilli, Tashkin mint and Bloody Mary sorbet; and the pot-roasted Royal Berkshire pork cheeks with broad beans and new season parsnip purée.

the food was great as always and with the most interesting combinations of ingredients. We had a hiccough on the service, but it was very well recovered with unexpected free desserts. Definitely worth visiting for the food experience
Amazing lunch, everything was excellent plus. Lady sommellier was outstanding and excellent selection of wine.

First visit to the Maze and really looked forward to it. As far as the food was concerned we had 10 different courses betwen us and every one of these was exceptional. The service at the reception bar was not great but once seated it was first class. The only real negative was the background music in the restaurant itself which was too loud and intrusive.Why they need to have anything at this level is a mystery. If you have to raise your voice to have a normal conversation that is unacceptable.
Arrived early for drinks but they sat us straight at our table. Told them we wen't booked for an hr but it took them 25m to figure out they had 2 bookings with the same name. So they insisted we eat straight away. Then they served a cocktail with off cream. The waiter who brought a new cocktail asked what was wrong with the 1st, I told her &she replied "well it's exactly the same cream". It wasn't! The manager came over and apologiesed, said the cream was off and he was sorry but all too late
maze was great. i expected lots and it really delivered. The food was outstanding and service was of equal level. Every mouthful was worth its price, i'll definately be back..
