About Sketch
The Gallery at sketch is a sensational gastro-brasserie located on the ground floor which has become a magnet for the media, artistic, and fashion crowds. Open to the public throughout the day as a video gallery (with a new programme every six weeks), the Gallery is transformed for dinner, although video projections remain throughout the evening on the doubled height walls. The menu, created by Pierre Gagnaire and Mourad Mazouz, features dishes like ‘Kiki’ roast saddle of rabbit; Lobster fricassee; and the distinctive Malabar dessert, featuring the iconic French bubblegum. The emphasis is on natural produce, with seasonal garnishes. Diners are invited to continue the evening with drinks until the Gallery closes at 2am.

Sketch Gallery: While not as immediately imposing as their LR&L the room & atmosphere is still fun & quirky. We had the ‘pig’ and beef fillet for mains with several veg & potato side dishes. All flavours & presentation were excellent, although the particular fillet was tougher than might have been expected. Dessert was the Chocolate Gateau & “Nico’s Play”, both superb, along with their excellent filter coffee. Overall another great evening at Sketch.
Amazing decor & environment. 100% quirky & wonderful. This might be a bit cryptic but there are mushrooms on the table & eggs in the bathroom - if you go, you'll know what I mean. We dined with a 360 degree view of the london skyline complete with exploding fireworks. No, the restaurant isn't on the top floor, projectors around the room display incredible scenes for diners! The food is high quality fare & chef displays considerable skills - get the 'crazy' pudding - but it's an expensive meal!
Great as usual! The atmosphere is wonderful and hip, the prices are a bit steep but worth it!
Sketch is always a glamorous, special venue. The food is phenomenal and the friendly service is attentive without being overbearing. The ambience in the Gallery is always buzzy with an interesting mix of people. Would recommend a drink in the bar on entry rather than the Egg shaped bar as that attracts a certain type of clientele (a pay by hour type). Will keep returning.
Cool venue very expensive, but worth a visit.
