A complete refurbishment has left the place looking seriously stylish; with banquette seating, impressive light-fittings and a walnut bar adding to the relaxed yet decadent atmosphere. The menu is a cut above standard gastropub fare and Head Chef Adam Hicks uses only the finest ingredients in the hearty British dishes. Our favourites include the Wright's Brother's oysters; the traditional roasts with all the trimmings, the steaks, and the apple and blackberry crumble with cinnamon ice cream.
