Toptable says about Kings Road Steakhouse & Grill

Situated on one of London's most fashionable streets, the Kings Road Steakhouse & Grill is an elegant but unpretentious setting for any occasion. Formerly known as Jimmy's, this charming Chelsea eatery promises fine food and wine in beautiful surroundings and never fails to impress. The dining room is a decadent art deco space, with cream leather, crystal chandeliers, huge mirrors and a wow-factor mezzanine level. The glass frontage is perfect for people watching and, as you would expect, the menu is full of classic European dishes and first class steaks. We recommend the grilled squid with chorizo and spicy couscous salad; the roast John Dory with girolles and herb butter; and the 10oz rib eye if you're really hungry.

I can't say a bad thing about Jimmy's. The food was fantastic, the service attentive and for a Tuesday night surprisingly busy!

Jimmy's haqs a great selection of food, very friendly staff who is clearly enjoying theri job and great champaigne cocktails.

If you ara group of 6 or more ask for the table by the bar , its almost like a private dining area, great for groups. The manager James and rest of the staff were also very nice to us. I will go back again.

Bit embarassing to be so gushing but Jimmy's was really excellent at lunch. Quiet but excellent.

Food was from a new birthday menu - apparently 1 year old today - and was top drawer. The waiter/manager was french & very professional yet friendly.

Deserves to be packed to the rafters, cannot recommend enough.

I would agree with the other reviews here, large helpings of charming service and really exquisite food. We went early evening and the place was starting to fill up but there was a lovely atmosphere.

Value wise most main courses were £12.50 and were as good as anything I have eaten at corporate meals recently at any price (including some very well known mayfair bastions).

We had 2 courses each, shared pud (creme brulee), had a lovely bottle of Italian Red (recommended £25) for £68 inc service
